7 Best Ways to Protect Well Water at Home

A private well gives your home, farm, or ranch direct access to water, but it also puts the responsibility for protecting that water on the property owner. The best ways to protect well water start above ground: keep contamination away from the wellhead, maintain the system, and test the water before a small concern becomes a larger problem.
